For effective results, apply 2 lbs of Green to Clean per 15,000 gallons of water. Start by spreading half of the product around the perimeter of the pool, ensuring even distribution. Concentrate the remaining amount on areas heavily affected by algae growth. Allow 5 minutes for the product to take effect. Next, add 2 lbs of chlorine shock (Cal-Hypo) around the pool’s perimeter every 12 hours for a total of 3 doses over 36 hours. This step is crucial for eradicating the algae. Once the algae is effectively eliminated, clean the pool filter and proceed to balance the water’s chemical levels. In cases of persistent or severe algae growth, multiple treatments may be necessary.
