The Hayward W3AQ-TROL-HP AquaTrol HP Salt System is specifically designed for above ground pools with a capacity of up to 18,000 gallons. This salt chlorinator effortlessly produces pure chlorine from the saltwater passing through its cell plates. By utilizing a salt chlorinator, you still benefit from the sanitizing properties of chlorine, but in a purer form. This salt chlorination process results in exceptionally soft and smooth-feeling pool water, providing a more enjoyable swimming experience while ensuring safe and sanitized water.

Installation of the Hayward AquaTrol HP salt cell is straightforward, as it can be easily fitted into 2″ rigid PVC pipes or 1-1/2″ – 1-1/4″ flexible hoses, using a separate flow switch. The AquaTrol control box boasts a digital interface with seven diagnostic indicators and a user-friendly salt display, allowing for easy monitoring. The control box offers various options such as Power, Generating, Super Chlorinate, No Flow, Test Salt Level, High Salt, and Inspect Cell, providing clear updates and assessments. It features a straight-blade type plug-in cord and operates efficiently on 120V/15A power. Additionally, the AquaTrol includes a 24-hour timer for controlling pump filtration in 15-minute segments, ensuring hassle-free and automated pool maintenance.

The Hayward AquaTrol HP comes with everything needed for installation, including the control box, salt cell, unions, and flow sensor.
